A comfort in not understanding
The small talk around me
Gives way for white noise
For my thoughts to find poise
I read each expression
Hand gesture and smirk
Relationships revealed
Without that much work
I’ll learn it eventually
But for now I’ll just savour
Not knowing the content
But getting a flavour
